Privacy Policy

Igor Vedeneev ("Service Provider", "we", "us") built the Mine app ("Application") as a Freemium service. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use the Application.

1. Data We Collect

• Account information — name and email address provided via Apple or Google Sign-In
• Bookmark data — URLs, titles, descriptions, and thumbnail images you save
• Usage data — reading streak, read/saved statistics, folder and tag structure
• Push notification tokens — to send reminders and digest notifications
• Subscription information — managed via RevenueCat
• Crash reports and device information — collected via Firebase Crashlytics to improve stability
• Analytics events — screens viewed and features used, collected via PostHog and tied to a randomly generated device identifier, not your name or email
• Server logs — error logs on Google Cloud Run for debugging purposes; these do not include personally identifiable information

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and improve the Application
• To organize your bookmarks using AI features
• To send reminders and weekly digest notifications you have opted into
• To process subscription payments
• To diagnose crashes and fix bugs

3. Third-Party Services

The Application uses the following third-party services which may receive your data:

• Google Firebase (Firestore, Storage, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging) — Privacy Policy
• PostHog — product usage analytics — Privacy Policy
• RevenueCat — subscription management — Privacy Policy
• OpenAI — AI processing of bookmark titles, descriptions, and URLs — Privacy Policy
• Anthropic — AI processing of bookmark titles, descriptions, and URLs — Privacy Policy
• Google Cloud Run — backend infrastructure hosting

When your bookmark data is sent to OpenAI or Anthropic for AI processing, only the URL, title, and description are transmitted. No account information is shared with these services.

4. Data Storage and Transfer

Your data is stored on Google Cloud servers located in Frankfurt, Germany (europe-west3). Thumbnail images are stored on Firebase Storage.

Some data may be transferred to the United States when processed by OpenAI, Anthropic, or RevenueCat. Such transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards in accordance with GDPR.

5. Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights:

• Access — request a copy of your personal data
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion — delete your account and all associated data directly in the Application via Settings → Account → Delete Account
• Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection — object to processing of your data

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

The Application is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

8. Push Notifications

The Application may send push notifications for reminders and weekly digests. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

9. Analytics

We use PostHog to collect product usage analytics — such as screens viewed and features used — to understand how the Application is used and improve it. This data is tied to a randomly generated device/installation identifier, not your name or email.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy in the Application. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
